Ryan Seacrest seemingly hit back at Andy Cohen by showing that the New Year's Eve special he hosted secured high ratings.

The "American Idol" host shared a screenshot of an article about "Rockin' Eve's" ratings on an Instagram Story Wednesday. The show was the highest-rated New Year's Eve special on TV with 19.6 million viewers, which is triple the figure that watched Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson's "Miley's New Year's Eve Party." It also had the most "Rockin' Eve" viewers in four years, according to The Wrap.

"Thank you to everyone who made this year’s #RockinEve another success!" Seacrest wrote on Instagram. "To all those who tuned in, to my amazing co-hosts @lizakoshy, @ciara, @theebillyporter, @roselyn_sanchez, as well as the incredible artists and the crew who made the 50th Anniversary so special. We couldn’t have done it without you!"

Seacrest made the post after Cohen's drunken rant while co-hosting CNN's "New Year's Eve Live" from Times Square with Anderson Cooper, 54, Friday, went viral. During the show, Cohen seemingly shaded ABC's broadcast.

"If you look behind me, you'll see Ryan Seacrest's group of losers performing," Cohen was quoted by Us Weekly as saying. "I'm sorry, but if you're watching ABC, you're watching nothing."

Cohen also criticized Journey for performing without its original lead singer Steve Perry. Arnel Pineda led the rock band during the show. The producer slammed their performance and called it "propaganda."

"We were doused with confetti from fake Journey on ABC. If it's not Steve Perry, it doesn't count! You get it? It's not Journey!" he reportedly said. "It's propaganda! It's propaganda! It's not Journey! It's not Journey! No, that was not Journey. Steve Perry is Journey."

Cohen addressed his viral New Year's Eve rant during his SiriusXM show "Radio Andy" Monday. He regretted what he said and maintained he was intoxicated at the time. He also "felt bad" for what he did.

"The only thing that I regret saying, the only thing is that I slammed the ABC broadcast," Cohen was quoted by People as saying. "And I really like Ryan Seacrest and he's a great guy and I really regret saying that and I was just stupid and drunk and feeling it."
