Sarah Ferguson was recently criticized on social media after committing a fashion faux pas in Dubai.

The Duchess of York wore a white ensemble to the charity event that was also attended by A-listers Susan Sarandon, Ben Stiller and Natalie Imbruglia. Ferguson gave a speech at the Artists for Peace and Justice & Bovet 1822 Gala. She also awarded prizes and posed on the red carpet with Tariq Al Gurg.

But a photo of Prince Andrew’s ex-wife posing with a camel in the desert quickly raised eyebrows on social media. In the snap, the mom of two is wearing a black shirt, black loafers and black tights.

“I’m sorry but I don’t care what the royal rules are, I won't wear stockings,” one person commented.

“Tights in Dubai? Really?” another person wrote.

But there is at least one person that commented positively on Ferguson’s attire.

“Seriously, I love how you are in super nice shoes and greeting camels,” the fan wrote.

In related news, Ferguson made headlines recently after she talked about her relationship with the royal family during an interview with Piers Morgan. After their conversation on “Good Morning Britain,” body language expert Judi James revealed what Ferguson’s real feelings were during the interview.

“When Piers announced he would be grilling Sarah about the Royals in the second part, Sarah’s body language suddenly became less assured and hugely incongruent. She raised her fists in the air in a gesture of celebration as though she was excited to be about to spill all the royal beans, but her pained royal expression was a denial gesture that suggested she was going to be more cautious,” she explained to Express.

Last week, it was also revealed that Ferguson was asked to grow up and get a grip by fuming royal courtiers while she was still married to Prince Andrew. In “Prince Andrew: The War Hero from Buckingham Palace,” author Jessica Jayne said that the royal couple’s marriage broke down immediately after their wedding ceremony.

Ferguson said that after Princess Beatrice was born, she was alone and kept crying. The royal courtiers urged her to get a hold of herself.
