Will Cabe (Robert Patrick) be able to snap out of his hallucinations in “Scorpion” Season 3, episode 17? CBS

“Scorpion” Season 3, episode 17 will focus on Cabe (Robert Patrick), Sylvester (Ari Stidham) and Happy (Jadyn Wong) experiencing hallucinations during their newest mission.

In the sneak peek released by CBS for “Dirty Seeds, Done Dirt Cheap,” the trio is tasked to protect a vital seed. But when their mission goes awry, Cabe, Sylvester and Happy suffer from life-threatening, fear-based hallucinations. Sylvester, who is scared of being chased, imagines that he is being followed. Cabe, who fears getting old, hallucinates that he’s approximately 10 years older with a wrinkled face. Happy, who is not fond of kids, is plagued with images of herself being surrounded by a group of young people.

Paige (Katharine McPhee), Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) would have to help them snap out of their hallucinations before these could endanger their lives.

Earlier this month, Patrick opened up to Entertainment Weekly about episode 17. “Some of us are going to have to deal with our innermost fears being exposed. We’re going to experience them in a way that’s going to be really, really neat for the audience. Some of the people keep their sanity, but some of us kind of go bananas,” he said.

Meanwhile, the previous episode of “Scorpion” Season 3 saw the members of Team Scorpion protecting an undercover agent from being exposed by the FBI. In “Keep It In Check, Mate,” Walter and Sylvester entered a chess competition as undercover agents, so they could reach out to Natalia (Mariah Bonner). Walter eventually won over Sylvester, so he was the one who sent a message to Natalia. He asked her to go to the women’s bathroom. While there, Natalia was welcomed by Paige, who explained that they wanted to protect her.

“Scorpion” Season 3, episode 17 will air on CBS on Feb. 17 at 10 p.m. EST.
