  • The Kardashian-Jenner clan had mentioned Travis Barker's proposal to Scott Disick before
  • Disick will always care for Kourtney Kourtney because she's the mother of his children
  • The Talentless founder is finding it hard to talk to Kourtney after the engagement news

Scott Disick already had an idea that Travis Barker would be proposing to Kourtney Kardashian because the Kardashian-Jenner clan has been very open about the progress of the couple's relationship with him.

An unnamed source spoke with E! News about Kourtney and Barker's engagement. The source said Disick "knew it was coming." Kourtney's family had "mentioned it to him before."

Even if Disick already knew that Kourtney and Barker were very serious with their relationship and that the latter would be proposing to his ex anytime soon, his prior knowledge didn't help because he is "still sad about it and is feeling low."

"He will always care for Kourtney. She is the mother of his children and no one else will compare to that," a second anonymous source told the outlet.

At present, the Talentless founder couldn't bring himself to speak to his baby mama. Disick and Kardashian share three children together — sons Mason, 11, and Reign, 6, and daughter Penelope, 9. He is also allegedly avoiding the newly engaged couple because he finds it hard to be around Kourtney and Barker.

"Scott Disick is still very bitter about Kourtney and Travis' relationship. He wants her to be happy, but behind closed doors, he will always have regrets about their relationship and why it didn't work out," another insider told the outlet. "He is bitter because he's never seen Kourtney this serious about someone."

Another anonymous insider spoke with Page Six about Disick's reaction to the engagement news. The 38-year-old television personality is allegedly "going crazy" and "going to go off the deep end."

"He knew it was possible but is very jealous of Kourtney and Travis’ relationship" another tipster said adding that he was "absolutely furious."

Disick has been very open about wanting Kourtney back even if he has been dating younger models. In one episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," Disick told Kourtney "I love you." In the same episode, he asked Kourtney's family if any of them wanted him and Kourtney to get married someday.

Kourtney admitted she was feeling pressured and "ambushed." Meanwhile, Kendall Jenner and Khloe Kardashian both supported Disick for their sister.

"I am Team 'Scourt,'" Kendall said on the show.

"I think we're all rooting for them," Khloe added. "Maybe they just need this time. And maybe they need even more time than right now. Who knows? But we're always rooting for them."

However, Kourtney and Barker are very serious with their romance. Kourtney announced their engagement by sharing a sweet photo of her and Barker during his proposal on Instagram over the weekend.
