Sharon Osbourne expressed her gratitude to supporters after her husband Ozzy Osbourne underwent major surgery.

The 69-year-old TV personality took to her Instagram Stories Tuesday to address their fans while sharing an update on her husband’s condition after the “life-altering” surgery on Monday.

“Our family would like to express so much gratitude for the overwhelming amount of love and support leading up to Ozzy’s surgery,” Sharon wrote.

She continued, “Ozzy is doing well and on the road to recovery! Your love means the world to him.”

Before posting her social media update, Sharon spoke about the surgery via TalkTV last week, saying the procedure was “really going to determine the rest of his life.”

The Black Sabbath frontman had to undergo the grueling surgery in Los Angeles after suffering from poor health for a number of years, according to the Independent.

Sharon flew in from London to be by her husband’s side. Ozzy is expected to spend a lot of time in recovery after having the pins in his neck and back removed and realigned.

A family source revealed to Page Six that a nurse would be brought into their home for his “lengthy amount of convalescence” after the operation.

“Ozzy is 73 and any kind of surgery when you get older is difficult. This is quite major. He’s having the pins in his neck and back realigned from when he had a fall back in 2019. He’s been in a lot of pain,” the source added.

Way before the tragic fall at his Los Angeles home, Ozzy sustained injuries from a quad biking accident in 2003. The fall aggravated the injuries and took a toll on his health for years.

In 2020, the singer was diagnosed with stage 2 Parkinson’s disease.

Back in April, Ozzy made the headlines when he contracted COVID-19. Sharon quickly took some time off from filming her show “The Talk U.K.” to be with her husband.

In a virtual message she sent to the show, she admitted that she was “very worried” about Ozzy. She then vowed to help “get my old man back on his feet again” in about a week.
