Sinead O’Connor worried fans when she posted what looked like a suicide note on social media. The Irish singer posted several angry notes on her official Facebook page recently, but the last one was particularly concerning to fans Sunday.

“I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in ireland [sic], under another name,” O’Connor wrote. “If I wasn't posting this, my kids and family wouldn't even find out. Was dead for another fortnight since none of them bother their hole with me for a minute. I could have been dead here for weeks already and they'd never have known.”

It isn’t clear if O’Connor really did overdose, but police have since found her. The Gardaí (Irish police) at Pearse Street Station said that the singer has been found and is “safe and sound," receiving medical assistance, Irish outlet BreakingNews.ie reports.

The “Nothing Compares 2 U” singer posted several other distressed and angry messages to Facebook over the last couple of days. She claimed that her family has taken her children away from her, and they’re only using her for money. O’Connor has four children: Jake, 28, Brigidine, 19, Shane, 11, and Yeshua, 8.

She also asked fans if anyone had a place for her to live, stating that she has left the music industry. “Music is over for me,” she wrote. “Music did this. Rendered me invisible even unto my children. Murdered my soul. I'm never going back to music.”

O’Connor’s reps have not released an official statement.

If O’Connor was taken to the hospital after being found, it would be her second trip in as many weeks. She previously told her fans that she was hospitalized and on suicide watch Nov. 20. The Daily Mail reported that she said a stalker has been threatening to rape her since March in a now-deleted post and revealed that the stalker was part of the reason she ended up on suicide watch.
