“Saturday Night Live” can’t always fit in every sketch, so some get cut for time. Luckily, they film the rehearsals, so NBC releases the cut “SNL” skits after the show. Feb. 29 host John Mulaney stars in both of this week's Cut For Time videos, which can be watched below.

Love Is Blind — Netflix’s new reality show was destined to be fodder for “SNL” eventually. “We make movies too good for the theater, and now, reality shows too degrading for cable,” the narrator says.

The reality show follows people who start dating without being able to see each other. Not only are they looking for love, but as Nick Lachey (Alex Moffat) and Vanessa Lachey (Melissa Villaseñor) show up in contamination suits, it’s revealed that this isn’t the usual reality show. This is “Love Is Blind: Quarantine Edition,” and the participants are all in a Coronavirus quarantine.

Mulaney plays Dirk, the one man who seems to actually be very infected. “I wish I could be there to hug you because I’m a hugger. And also, I don’t wash my hands and I put my fingers in my mouth,” he says. That won’t stop Raquel (Ego Nwodin) from accepting his proposal.

You Go Show — This talk show is all about positivity, but “You Go!” host Danny Rash (Mulaney) just isn’t too impressed with his guests. Gene (Mikey Day) has huge ears, and he explains how he overcame his insecurities by realizing that he doesn’t look at other people’s ears. “Do you think you notice other people’s ears less because their ears are normal?” Mulaney’s host asks.

Cecily Strong plays Amanda, a woman who dropped her job with an investment company to make poodle skirts for cats. She brings out a cat in a pink skirt (because “SNL” loves making Strong hold live animals this season), and Mulaney’s host asks if she could go back to her old job if necessary. When the guests call out the hosts, awkwardness ensues.

“Saturday Night Live” airs Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. EST on NBC.
