Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) shares gained 0.28 percent to $28.95 in pre-market trading session on Friday. The company’s second quarter earnings was $6.63 billion, or $0.77 per share, compared to $6.66 billion, or $0.74 per share in the same period a year-ago, while the revenue rose to $19.95 billion, up from $19 billion in the same quarter last year.

Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN) shares plunged 8.36 percent to $169.03 in pre-market trading session. Its fourth quarter profit was $416 million or 91 cents a share, up from $384 million or 85 cents a share last year. Sales rose 36 percent to $12.95 billion. Analysts had expected profit of 88 cents a share on revenue of $12.98 billion.

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) is due to report its fourth quarter before the opening bell on Friday. Analysts, on average, polled by Thomson Reuters expect the company to report fourth quarter earnings per share of $0.48 from $0.43 last year.

Chevron Corp. (NYSE:CVX) is expected to report fourth quarter net income of $2.40 per share compared to $1.53 per share in the same quarter a year-ago.

Honeywell International Inc. (NYSE:HON) shares advanced 2.04 percent to $57.06 in aftermarket trading session on Thursday. The company is expected to report fourth quarter net income of $0.87 per share before the markets open on Friday.

Dominion Resources Inc. (NYSE:D) is likely to post fourth quarter net income of $0.66 per share compared to $0.63 per share in the same quarter last year.

American Electric Power Co. (NYSE:AEP) is likely to post fourth quarter net income of $0.40 per share compared to $0.50 per share in the same quarter last year.
