Unique Photo: Lunar Eclipse on Long Exposure, Earth’s shadow moves!

A lunar eclipse occurred on June 15, 2011 visible throughout the world and one of the longest viewable in over a decade. A unique photo was taken in Malaga, Spain, one of the southern most cities in the country. The photo was taken using long exposure to trace the movement of the lunar eclipse over time.

The 6-member crew of space shuttle Endeavour began its two-day journey back to the Earth from the orbiting International Space Station (ISS) on Sunday 11:55 pm (EDT) after delivering a $2 billion payload - Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer particle detector or a cosmic ray detector - and a pallet of spare parts intended to tide over the orbital outpost after the shuttle program ends.
