Tallulah Willis has revealed that she was the one who designed her engagement ring and not her fiancé Dillon Buss, and many fans were surprised by this.

Hours after proudly announcing on social media that she said yes to what appeared to be a surprise proposal by her beau, the youngest daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis took to Instagram to reveal that she was actually the one who designed her engagement band.

The 27-year-old actress shared a close-up snap of her huge sparkler and explained in a lengthy caption the tedious process of finding the right diamond for her ring and designing the perfect engagement band for her.

“I found Anup, @crazygemhunter my new forever friend a few months ago while furiously trying to decode the world of diamonds,” she wrote before adding that she also enlisted the help of jeweler Karina Noel in finding the perfect diamond for her ring.

“After much deliberation we decided on this 1910s elongated asscher cut forged in a riverbed,” she revealed. Willis then went on to thank the jeweler for putting up with her “late night FaceTimes and manic sketches” as she really wanted it to be the perfect ring for her finger.

In her post, she also expressed her appreciation for Buss for allowing her to take the driver’s seat in the designing process of her engagement ring.

“My fiancé (!!!) is the most understanding precious human noodle and when we began talking about this seriously I told him due to my lowkey (highkey lol) obsessive, perfectionist, micro lens way of viewing special things in my life I knew I had to be in the drivers seat with this one,” she wrote.

Many of Willis’ fans who were surprised by her revelation quickly reacted to her post. Most of them congratulated her for doing a great job in making the stunning engagement ring possible. A few pointed out that the proposal did not come as a surprise as she was fully involved in the designing process.

“So it wasn’t a surprise then. Understandable though,” one fan wrote.

“It’s beyond stunning! I’ve never seen anything close to the beauty. Congrats,” another commented.

“Gorgeous ring! Very unique and special!! Congratulations to you both on your engagement,” a different user stated.

“Incredible beauty! It’s utter perfection! May allllll your days be as beautiful as the love you share,” another user added.

On Tuesday, the Hollywood star proudly announced her engagement to the 31-year-old film director on Instagram by uploading a series of photos showing what transpired during the proposal.

In one snap, Willis could be seen looking so surprised as Buss got down on knee to ask her if she would marry him. Another shot showed them kissing after Willis said yes to Buss’ proposal.

It wasn’t clear when exactly Willis and Buss started dating. The first time they shared photos of them together online was in February 2020. The year prior, Willis was still romantically linked to actor Jack Kilmer.
