Taylor Swift, the 11 times Grammy award-winning American pop singer, is celebrating her 32nd birthday on Monday. Swift was awarded the first Grammy when she was just 20 years old, which made her the youngest winner of the award in the show's history.

The crooner has since never looked back in her career and achieved greater milestones with songs inspired by her own personal life.

Swift's singing career kickstarted when she was as young as 9. The country music icon was born in Pennsylvania but later moved on to Nashville to further advance her musical endeavors. She was only 16 when her self-titled debut was released and breakthrough was certified seven-times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America considering the massive sales.

When Swift was 18 years old, the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart saw her song titled "Our Song" hitting the top of the chart and her other hit singles came in successive years.

To mark her birthday, here are some hit singles by the singer which brought her unprecedented success over the years.

Willow:

The song that belongs to the album Evermore, has the acoustic beat reminiscent of Lana Del Rey's hip-hop-influenced debut Born To Die. Willow is a love song that has metaphorical representations of the singer's state of mind.

Love Story:

The song, which was released in 2008, draws inspiration from the epic romance between Romeo and Juliet. The video song is basically the remake of the landmark novel by William Shakespeare with a modern-day twist. Love Story became Swift's most successful single in the U.K., with over 90 million streams to date.

Lover:

The lover is the seventh studio album released by the singer and marks the first album after parting ways with her former label, Big Machine Records. The earworm covers all aspects of love, including contentment, infatuation, endearment, lust and heartache.

Back to December:

Back to December is Swift's ode to the Twilight actor Taylor Lautner with whom she had been in a relationship and later broke up. The lyrics which went like "I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile" was reportedly Swift reminiscing about a December night when Lautner "gave her roses and she left them there to die."

Enchanted:

The song belongs to her third studio album "Speak Now" and is based on the singer's infatuation with someone after meeting them for the first time.
