Pop star Taylor Swift has revealed that she could feel a connection with the character of Daenerys Targaryen — played by Emilia Clarke on the hit TV series “Game Of Thrones” — because she was able to relate to her struggle in maintaining her power.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the 29-year-old musician shared that she regrets convincing people that she “was not the one” holding the “puppet strings” of her marketing existence.

“People love new female artists so much because they are able to explain that women’s success. There’s an easy trajectory. Look at the ‘Game Of Thrones’ finale. I specifically really related to Daenerys’ storyline because for me it portrayed that it is a lot easier for a woman to attain power than to maintain it,” Swift said.

The “You Need To Calm Down” hitmaker insisted that Daenerys was a “total metaphor” despite committing several murders throughout the series. The singer applauded the makers of the series for showing that it is easy to get acclaimed but really difficult to keep the recognition with you for a very long time.

During the same interview, the “Me!” singer did not hold back about her feelings when it comes to her 10-year-long feud with fellow musician Kanye West, and she even called him “two-faced” because of what happened during the 2015 Video Music Awards.

Swift shared that she was really surprised when West called her and asked her to present him the iconic Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

The singer went on to say that she was really excited when West called up to give her this opportunity, but she was shocked when she saw his "two-faced" personality during the acceptance speech at the VMAs.

During his speech, West said that MTV gave Swift a chance to present him this award, so that they can get their ratings up. At the time, Swift was standing with her arms around West's wife Kim Kardashian and could feel the chills running through her body when she heard West.

The “Delicate” hitmaker decided to move past the whole incident after West sent her a big bouquet of flowers to apologize because she did not want them to be on bad terms again.

Things between Swift and West became even worse when West released his song “Famous” in 2016. The line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex” shocked the “Reputation” singer to the core and led her to a conclusion that she doesn’t want to be in this mess anymore.

While hearing the song and that particular lyric, she could not help but feel bad about herself that she gave West another chance to reconcile. But she made a firm decision this time and decided to walk out of this situation without making any extra effort, telling West that if he wants to be on bad terms then that is what he is going to get.
