Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander) might only have a small role in the “Thor” franchise, but Marvel fans are still eager to catch her on the big screen as Marvel prepares its third installment, “Thor: Ragnarok.”

After much speculation about her involvement in the third movie, a leaked video from Alexander’s guest appearance on AMC’s “Talking with Chris Hardwick” seems to have confirmed that she will reprise her role as Lady Sif in “Thor: Ragnarok.”

Twitter user Kathy W posted a video of her guest appearance, in which the voiceover says: “Jaimie Alexander from ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is talking with Chris Hardwick Sunday night at 11.”

If the claim is indeed true, Lady Sif, who was first introduced in the 2011 movie “Thor” as one of Thor’s (Chris Hemsworth) closest friends, may not fare well in the third film. Many actually believe she has a thing for the god of thunder.

Inverse noted that in the comic books, she even sacrificed her own life to save Thor. It’s possible that Lady Sif will do the same thing in “Ragnarok.” As a result, Thor will survive his battle with Hela (Cate Blanchett) and be thrown to the intergalactic gladiator arena, where he will meet his old buddy, Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Hela is going to make quite an entrance in the new movie, and Blanchett told E! News it’s for that very reason that she agreed to portray Marvel’s first female villain. “That had me at ‘hello’ actually,” Blanchett said of her character destroying Thor’s weapon, Mjölnir. “I thought that was really exciting that they were prepared to destroy Thor’s power in the first few minutes. It’s a nice entrance.”

Meanwhile, Hemsworth simply loved having Blanchett on board the franchise. But given her impressive acting portfolio, the Australian actor confessed that he felt intimidated by her. “It was wildly intimidating but she is one of my favourite people on the planet,” Hemsworth told News.com.au at the 2017 Comic-Con in San Diego. “It’s nice to meet your heroes and it be as good as you’d hoped. She’s just incredibly wonderful and generous and fun and that was one of the best experiences.”

“Thor: Ragnarok” will be released on Nov. 3.
