Reshoots are needed for Marvel’s “Thor: Ragnarok” this July 12 to 18 with “muscular” men. Marvel

The upcoming film “Thor: Ragnarok” by Marvel isn’t finished yet because reports surfaced that reshoots will be conducted in Atlanta this coming July 12 to 19.

The reshoots, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, will require the services of “Caucasian-looking men who are over 18 and between 5’10” and 6’1”…very physically fit, with muscular and defined arms.”

As for why the reshoots are needed, the casting call did not say, but maybe it has something to do with the intergalactic gladiator arena where Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will be reunited with his fellow Avenger, Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Hulk is the undeniable favorite of the arena, and Ruffalo earlier said that people will be quite impressed by his transformation in this movie. “He’s much more of a character than the green rage machine you’ve seen in the Avengers movies,” Ruffalo told Entertainment Weekly. “He’s got a swagger. He’s like a god.”

Another huge character to be contended with is Korg, an 8-foot-tall rock creature that originated from Marvel’s “Planet Hulk” comic storyline. He will be played by director Taika Waititi, who described him as “the most lovable character in the film.”

“Obviously, being made of rocks, we wanted somebody like The Rock to play him, but there wasn’t enough chicken or salmon in Australia to sustain he and Chris,” Waititi said of Korg. “We wanted to change the idea of what a hulking guy made of rocks could be. He’s huge and heavy, but with a light soul. We wanted to make him funny and a relatable entry point into this world. And Thor needs friends.”

Thor needing friends in this movie is an understatement, since he will be coming face-to-face with the villainess Hela (Cate Blanchett). She is so formidable that even Thor’s half-brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will be forced to cast aside his grudge with Thor and team up with him in order to defeat her.

“Thor: Ragnarok” will be released on Nov. 3.
