  • Rumors claim Nessa Barrett came in between Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson
  • Hudson said he kissed Barrett but only after breaking up with D'Amelio
  • D’Amelio and Hudson made their romance official in February but broke up in April

TikTok sensations Charli D’Amelio and Chase Hudson may have broken up due to fellow social media star Nessa Barrett, according to the latest rumors.

D’Amelio and Hudson, who made their relationship official in February, announced their split just two months later in April. At the time, both of them released statements assuring fans they were still friends. But cheating rumors plagued the ex-couple after Hudson was spotted kissing Barrett.

In a since-deleted tweet, Hudson revealed that he did kiss Barrett, but he claimed this happened only after he broke up with D'Amelio. "All of this drama going on is because I kissed Nessa when we were both single."

"The only person who has a right to be upset with me is Charli and I’m sorry I hurt her," he wrote in another now-deleted Twitter post. "We broke up and I messed up by kissing Nessa."

Responding to her ex's post, D’Amelio posted, "stop deflecting you're [sic] actions onto others because you can't take responsibility chase. want me to talk about how you treated me throughout our relationship or do you just want to continue to play the victim?"

D’Amelio and Hudson, also known as Lil Huddy, are two of TikTok’s most popular stars, with more than 60 million followers and over 21 million followers, respectively. Barrett has 9.3 million followers.

Announcing their split in April, D'Amelio said she has "so much love" for Hudson and wants nothing but the best for him. Hudson also said that he'll continue to support his ex-girlfriend.

The two sparked reconciliation rumors last month after Hudson was featured in one of D’Amelio’s videos. Hudson also posted a video with his ex, writing, "long time no see bruvv."

However, nothing came of the reunion.

Meanwhile, Barrett has revealed her thoughts about the latest drama, telling People that she has considered quitting social media due to the hate she has received in the past few days.

Confirming that she shared a kiss with Hudson, Barrett said it did not mean anything to either of them.

"The narrative that is being spun around me is one of hate and s--t shaming, and the constant DM's and emails of people telling me I’m stupid and should kill myself are getting to be too much for to me bear,” she said.
