The second season of "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" is set to explore Rimuru Tempest's journey as he tries to develop diplomatic relations with the Beast Kingdom Eurazania.

The official website released spoiler stills and synopsis for "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2, Episode 1. The episode, which is titled "Rimuru's Busy Days," will see the protagonist meeting Carrion, the king of Beast Kingdom Eurazania.

He prepares to entertain Eurazania's delegation but sees a tiger-drawn carriage, controlled by the magic beast named Thunder Tiger.

The new cast members joining "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2 include Manami Numakura as Hinata Sakaguchi, Chiaki Kobayashi as Shōgo Taguchi, Sho Nogami as Kyōya Tachibana, Ai Kakuma as Albis, Hiyori Kono as Kirara Mizutani, Yō Taichi as Suphia, Atsumi Tanezaki as Mjurran and Satoshi Hino as Grucius.

Before airing the first episode of the second season, the showrunners aired a special episode introducing Holy Knight-Captain Hinata Sakaguchi, who is the chief knight of the Imperial Guard.

In the special episode, Hinata receives a book from a merchant from the east. The book chronicles Rimuru's journey and the Jura Tempest Federation. He learns how Goblins, Lizardmen, Ogres, Orcs and several other monsters made the Great Forest of Jura their home.

He also finds out about Rimuru's diplomatic prowess when he learns that the Armed Nation of Dwargon (a country of dwarves) and the Kingdom of Blumund (a country of humans) are his allies.

The life of Mikami Satoru, a regular office-goer, changes after he is fatally stabbed in a mindless knife attack. His dying thoughts get recorded as his wishes for reincarnation. Satoru is reincarnated in another world as a Slime with incredible powers like Predator and Great Sage.

Later, he joins forces with a dragon named Veldora. They become friends and even exchange names. The Slime becomes Rimuru and gathers allies in the otherworld.

Fans can watch "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 2, Episode 1 online on Crunchyroll. The episode will live stream in Japanese with English subtitles.

Episode 1 of the second season is scheduled to air Tuesday, 9 a.m. ET.
