Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley's attorneys have filed notices of appeal against their convictions and prison sentences for bank fraud and tax evasion.

Todd made the revelation in the latest episode of the couple's "Chrisley Confessions" podcast, a month before their prison sentences are scheduled to begin.

However, he told fans that he and his wife are "not allowed" to discuss the case after their lawyer filed an appeal.

"We cannot discuss the case because the appeal has now been — however they do it — I think it was filed yesterday or the day before yesterday," he said in the podcast episode. "Our attorneys noticed the courts that they were appealing this."

"So we're not allowed to discuss it, so don't think we're avoiding wanting to tell you something because we're not," he added. "It's that we've been told we cannot."

The "Chrisley Knows Best" star also acknowledged the support that he and Julie have received from fans.

According to the reality TV personality, they were "bombarded" with letters and gifts. Some fans offered to help them in any way, while others said they were praying for them.

Todd asked people to continue to pray for them if "it's in your heart and your will to do."

"If you are praying for my demise, then I pray that God blocks your prayer. If you're praying for our blessings, then I'm reinforcing your prayer and asking God to listen to the masses that are praying for us," he added.

In June, a federal jury found Todd and Julie guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States and tax fraud. Julie was also convicted of wire fraud. The pair has denied all allegations.

Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison last month, while Julie received seven years. Both reality stars were also sentenced to 16 months of probation following their jail time.

In documents obtained by People, a motion filed by the U.S. Marshals Office Monday stated that the couple must report to their respective Florida institutions on Jan. 17.

Todd will serve time at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. Julie will be at Federal Correctional Institution Marianna, which is two and a half hours away.

The Chrisleys previously spoke about their sentences on their podcast last month. Julie said they have been living "every day as if it's our last," while reading a quote by author Priscilla Shirer.

"Yesterday doesn't matter. Today is what we have. Tomorrow belongs to God, because we're not promised tomorrow," Todd added, echoing his spouse's sentiments. "What God calls us through, he will walk us through."
