Tom Brady had fans in a tizzy after he posted a photo of himself, but things aren't always as they seem.

The longtime New England Patriots quarterback posted a black and white photo of himself to social media on Jan. 30, and fans jumped to the conclusion that it signified his retirement. Wrong. As it turns out the photo was actually from his Super Bowl commercial for Hulu.

"They say all good things must come to an end, but the best just know when to walk away," Brady said in the 30-second clip. "So, to my teammates, my family, and most of all my fans, you deserve to hear this from me."

"Hulu doesn’t just have live sports," he trolled. "According to the script they just gave me, Hulu also has your favorite cable channels, plus the greatest shows, movies, and originals of all time. So it’s time to say goodbye to tv as you know it."

"But me? I’m not going anywhere," the 42-year-old ended the ad.

Although Brady seemed to acknowledge the talk surrounding his retirement, there are still some questions that are left unanswered. He may not be leaving the NFL, but could he be leaving the Patriots?

A source told People, "He will definitely play next year he is just not sure where yet. He is not retiring."

Brady will be a free agent when the new season starts in March so there is a chance that he could leave the team that he's been with since getting drafted in 2000. At the top of the list with the best odds to snag Brady is the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite the odds, the only way to truly know where the quarterback will play next is by waiting for the big announcement.
