While celebrity news followers are anxiously waiting to see Tom Hiddleston with Taylor Swift on their first red carpet, Marvel fans are just excited to see him on screen with Mark Ruffalo. “Thor: Ragnarok” marks the first time Loki and Hulk have seen each other since 2012’s “The Avengers,” and it seems there will still be some tension between the two.

“Loki has a few thing to say about what happened last time with the Hulk,” Hiddleston revealed on the happysadconfused podcast.

In “The Avengers,” all of the superheroes fought Hiddleston’s evil trickster, but Hulk managed to provide one of the most memorable fight sequences, seen below:

Hiddleston was cautious of spoilers, but he has teased a new Hulk vs. Loki face-off before. “It’s no secret that the Hulk shows up in ‘Ragnarok,’” Hiddleston told the audience at Wizard World Philadelphia last month. “And the last time Loki and Hulk were in the same room, it didn’t go very well for Loki, so he’s got a few chips on his shoulder.”

Though Hiddleston didn’t reveal exactly what happens in the confrontation, he seems excited about it. In fact, the Emmy-nominated actor was very enthusiastic about the film as a whole. “The script is absolutely brilliant,” he added. “Taika Waititi is, I can see already, the most brilliant and spirited leader, and his set is enormous fun.”

Though “Thor: Ragnarok” is his first time playing Loki in four years, the 35-year-old said it didn’t take long to get back into character. “Once I’d gone through the transformation that I had to go through — which is not done by me; it’s done by my brilliant collaborators in hair and makeup and costume. But after two hours of sitting there and then looking in the mirror and seeing this guy staring back at me, it’s like ‘Hello darkness, my old friend.’”

“Thor: Ragnarok” is scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 3, 2017.
