The landscape of Atlantic City, New Jersey, will take on a new appearance Wednesday as the Trump Plaza Casino will finally be imploded.

The implosion is slated for 9 a.m. Wednesday and will be live-streamed by WPVI, an ABC affiliate out of Philadelphia. The news station is streaming the casino’s demolition online as well as on the 6ABC mobile app and its TV apps for Roku, Amazon Fire, Apple TV, and Android TV.

According to the news outlet, Trump Plaza Casino was first opened in 1984. It shut its doors in 2014 and has been an eyesore to the city as it fell into disrepair.

The teardown of the casino sparked several responses on social media that called it a “metaphorical” end to Trump’s presidency.

Many on social media had farewell messages for the casino and Trump as well. Twitter users asked if they could “push the button” and said it was “must see TV.”

But Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small told WPVI that “This is not about Donald Trump. This is not about politics.”

He continued by saying, “Immediately after the implosion, that’s where the conversation shifts.”

Small is committed to the future of the site that sits on a prime piece of real estate that is privately owned by billionaire investor Carl Icahn, WPVI reported. Future plans for the location remain unclear.

The implosion can also be watched on site from some hotels and some public viewing areas, but the detonation areas close to the casino have been closed off to vehicles and pedestrians by Atlantic City police.
