Donald Trump attacked Rihanna after she revealed her second pregnancy to the world by showcasing her baby bump while performing at the Super Bowl halftime Sunday night. A reaction from the former president was expected since he attacked Rihanna in the days leading up to her highly anticipated gig.

"Without her 'Stylist' she'd be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!" he wrote on the afternoon of Feb. 9. Fast forward to just after 9 pm Sunday, Trump expressed his opinion about Rihanna's mini-concert and did not hold back, NYPost reported.

Trump is often mocked for being a neologist, and for his unique sentence formation, as is obvious from the reactions "covfefe" and "bigly" received online. He continues to post "truths" on the Truth Social platform laced with his signature touch, particularly fragmented sentences, and the shade directed at Rihanna read no different.

"EPIC FAIL," Trump wrote, in full caps which is construed as the internet's version of screaming. "Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history – This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language. Also so much for her 'Stylist!'" he continued.

For the unversed, the Barbadian beauty and Trump have both publicly aimed shots at each other. While Trump believes what he does about Rihanna, the singer-entrepreneur too is no fan and had once asked to stop using her music at MAGA rallies. She also posted spray-painted words "F—k TRUMP" in a series of graffiti photos ahead of the 2020 Presidential elections.

A recent survey suggested Trump is more popular than the reigning President Joe Biden and would win the elections if they were held presently. Despite his relevance, Rihanna's fans didn't let Trump's comments slide.

"Rihanna has 1000X the integrity and humility as this guy does. WORST take ever! WHAT A CHILD," a tweet read.

"Not really a fan of Rihanna but thought she was ok at the half time at the superbowl but that comment by Trump was disgusting. What a pathetic loser," a second tweeted.

"Imagine coming for Rihanna's 'foul and insulting language' as Donald f---ing Trump lmao the stench of desperation is overwhelming," a third tweet read.

Trump's supporters rallied for him as well. "I have to agree with Trump on this one. That Rihanna performance was lame af," said one.

Back in 2019 when Rihanna's beau A$AP Rocky was jailed in Sweden with his two bodyguards over a street fight, Trump intervened and threatened a trade war. The former President's supporters used the incident to troll Rihanna while her fans attacked him over the recent social media post.

"President Trump threatened a war to free A$AP Rocky from Sweden. It would have been nice for Rihanna to use her platform to thank President Trump for freeing the father of her child from a foreign prison, but she clearly had other plans. Disappointing but not surprising," a Twitter user opined.

"@Rihanna just saying... President Trump brought your hubby back from Sweden - if not- you would have no baby right now. #Gratitude," wrote another.
