Angelina Jolie is reportedly moving to the United Kingdom with her children for the filming of her upcoming Marvel movie, but Brad Pitt is not having it, according to a journalist.

The Sun editor Dan Wootton claimed in a report that Jolie may be taking her six children with estranged husband Pitt over to the other side of the pond. Jolie's upcoming movie, "The Eternals," will reportedly begin filming in London, and the actress wanted to bring her kids along with her for the duration of the shoot.

Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Jolie will be starring in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, which The Hollywood Reporter said will focus on "the love story between Ikaris, a man fueled by cosmic energy, and Sersi, who relishes moving amongst humans." THR also confirmed that Jolie will be taking on the lead role of Sersi, "a more outgoing Eternal who has not been afraid to movie amongst humankind."

It would come as no surprise if Jolie does end up moving to the UK temporarily as filming would no doubt take a while. However, The Sun editor claimed that the move has left Pitt, who is based in Los Angeles, "upset" because it meant that it would be hard to see Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10.

Wootton, however, said that Pitt wasn't "going to take dramatic measures to try to stop the temporary move." The actor reportedly wants to have as little contact with Jolie as possible and maintain a "harmonious" atmosphere for the sake of their kids.

However, a listing in Production Weekly indicates that "The Eternals" will begin production in Atlanta, the most common location for Marvel Studios films, on August 1. While it is possible the movie will have several sets, there is no word yet on a UK shoot, so take this speculation with a grain of salt.

But while Wootton claimed Pitt may be upset by Jolie's decision, a source recently told Entertainment Tonight that the "Mr. And Mrs. Smith" co-stars' relationship nowadays is "the best it's been since their split." The former couple reportedly moved past their "very hard feelings" toward each other and now "rarely ague."

After the two reached a custody agreement for their children last year, Pitt and Jolie have reportedly been getting along better, and the children are now hanging out with their dad. The estranged husband and wife have reportedly set up a custody schedule as to who gets the kids on specific days so they could avoid any conflict.

This could mean that even if Jolie takes the kids to another country, Pitt would still get to see his children regularly.
