Is Angelina Jolie dating Tom Hiddleston two years after splitting with ex-husband Brad Pitt? A tabloid report previously claimed that the actress is moving on with the "Avengers" star, but the reality is completely different.

Woman's Day New Zealand released a report this time last year that Jolie had a new man in her life and that person was Hiddleston. The actor's "Thor" co-star Chris Hemsworth reportedly set the two up after Jolie told the latter that most men were too intimidated by her to ask her out on a date.

The magazine's so-called insider went on to claim that Hiddleston and Jolie began to regularly text and call each other. Jolie was reportedly eager to "find love again," while Hiddleston apparently "always had the hots for her."

However, it's been a year since this report and Jolie has not come public with any relationships. Gossip Cop also confirmed with sources close to Jolie and Hiddleston that there is no truth to the report.

Last year, a source close to the Oscar-winning actress also told People magazine that Jolie has no plans of getting into another relationship for now. She apparently just wants to focus on raising her six children with Brad Pitt: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh and twins Vivienne and Knox.

“She isn’t dating anyone and won’t be for a very long time," the insider said. She is focused on her children and their needs."

Aside from Hiddleston, Jolie was also linked to American-Cambodian rapper and filmmaker PraCh Ly at the time. However, the source also confirmed that Ly is only a "friend" whom Jolie "respects."

Jolie met Ly through Loung Ung. Jolie turned the latter's memoir, "First They Killed My Father," into a Netflix movie of the same title in 2017. In October of that year, Ly, who is the director of Long Beach, California’s Cambodia Town Film Festival, moderated a Q & A with Ung and Jolie after the film's screening at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016 after two years of marriage and 10 years together. The ex-couple reached an agreement on the custody of their six children a few weeks ago.
