Rumors surrounding Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's relationship continue to emerge with the latest one claiming the actor's ex-wife will help him in the custody battle against Angelina Jolie. However, the new report was debunked by Gossip Cop.

Pitt is “ensuring he gains permanent joint custody by unleashing a secret weapon in court — his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston!” the NW magazine claimed.

“Jen is appalled at the way Brad’s being treated and will do anything she can to get him through this,” the source told the magazine. “She’s more than willing to stand up as a character witness and reiterate that Brad is a dedicated, responsible dad who lives a clean and sober life.”

The unreliable source also said, Pitt and Aniston “have been in constant contact for months and are rock-solid confidants who speak most days," adding: “Jen has been so touched by Brad’s dedication and devotion towards his kids. She figures standing up for him before a judge is the least she could do.”

However, the latest claims are false as Aniston and Pitt haven't seen one another “in ages,” and they don’t keep “in regular contact.”

Aniston and Pitt's reunion rumors have been making the rounds for quite some time now, despite their representatives denying the claims. Rumors of engagement had also surfaced.

Pitt and Jolie are parents to six children: Maddox, 16, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 11, and Vivienne and Knox, 9. Maddox, Pax and Zahara were adopted from orphanages in Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia. The other three are the former couple’s biological kid.

After Pitt and Jolie ended their marriage, the former couple got into a custody battle for their kids.

Earlier this month, Jolie filed court documents accusing her estranged husband of not paying any “meaningful” child support. However, Pitt’s lawyers denied the claim saying he has given the actress more than $9 million since their 2016 split.

Another rumor surfaced this week about Jolie's reason for lashing out at Pitt over the custody of the children. According to the "false" report, Jolie is angry about Pitt's hook-up with Aniston.
