Queen Elizabeth is reportedly fearing the end of the British monarchy, and she is also aware that she could be the last monarch in history. However, there has been no official word yet from the palace, so no evidence supports these speculations.

An unnamed source told New Idea that Her Majesty is gravely affected by the back to back scandals that have been plaguing the royal family.

“There has always been grumbling about the tax money going to the wealthy royal family, but the latest scandals have whipped the public into a purple fury. People are calling for an end to the costly ‘sovereign grant’ that pays millions in allowances to the royals each year. And the queen, who is ailing and 93, is terrified the monarchy will cease to exist after her death,” the source said.

The insider went on to say that the public and even the royal fans have been distancing themselves from the British clan following Prince Andrew’s associations with Jeffrey Epstein. In the past, the public stuck with the royal family even during Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s tumultuous divorce.

“Andrew’s refusal to say he regretted ever knowing Epstein and his apparent lack of feeling for the creep’s victims was outrageous — despite his proclamations he never had sex with a member of the pedophile’s underage harem,” the source claimed.

In addition, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have also been criticized for their lavish spending and use of taxpayer’s money just like Prince Andrew. All these have been regarded as a publicity nightmare by the publication, and the Queen is the one who is affected the most.

As of late, the monarch has not yet made public statements regarding the royal family’s biggest scandals. But royal expert Marlene Koenig told Express that the Queen is certainly feeling sad for the royals.

Koenig said that the crises also reflects poorly on Her Majesty’s position as the head of the royal family. And the problems might have been avoided if former Private Secretary Christopher Geidt was still around.
