Gwen Stefani and Lady Gaga are locked in a “nasty feud,” if recent reports about the two singers are to be believed. But is there any truth to these stories? It is common to see rivalries among celebrities, but there are times when such stories are entirely fabricated.

Both Lady Gaga and Stefani are professional singers who regularly perform at their respective events. Lady Gaga launched her Enigma show at Park MGM last month, while Stefani has been promoting her songs at the Planet Hollywood Resort. According to a report by Gossip Cop, the latest rumor about Stefani is that the two singers are involved in some kind of professional rivalry.

The fact that the two singers have events around the same time is said to be the root of the problem. A tabloid story recently suggested that Stefani is not happy about the fact that Lady Gaga is able to attract celebrities like Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Dave Grohl and Jeremy Renner, while the former isn’t able to get A-listers to attend her events. The tabloid ran the story with a “nasty feud” headline to describe the situation.

Is there any truth to this rumor? First off, the fact that Stefani supported Lady Gaga's "Enigma" album last month should give an indication about their relationship. On top of that, the respective spokespersons of the two singers have officially confirmed that there is no rivalry between the two celebrities.

Lady Gaga is a more established star in the Las Vegas headline routine, but Stefani has nothing but love and support for her fellow singer. During her performance at Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort last month, Stefani gave a shoutout to Lady Gaga on stage, Las Vegas Review Journal reported. At the time, the audience responded with a loud cheer.

Lady Gaga, on the other hand, is busy expanding her career with bigger roles in Hollywood movies. After being a part of projects like “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For” and “American Horror Story,” the singer is reportedly in the race for what could be the biggest role of her career yet.

According to a report by Daily Star, Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga are being considered to play the role of Queen Cleopatra in a big budget Hollywood film. A source at Sony has reportedly confirmed that the race between the two celebrities is so tight that they may be asked to come in for an audition, something that is rarely done by A-listers.
