"Uncharted 4" is breaking many firsts in the franchise’s history, and the latest revelation sees a single-player post-launch addition to the game.

Developer Naughty Dog has announced that this is the first time that the studio will include any post-launch additions to the game, Gamepur reported. However, it wasn’t doing so out of the blue, as it is currently following the method that was tried out for its previous title "The Last of Us," which was positively received by fans.

Apart from trying out the DLC method of "The Last of Us," it will also be getting hints from how the "Left Behind" DLC was created. This included experiments with dialogues, cinematic approaches and non-combat aspects of the game. And this also includes polishing on parts of "Left Behind," and making them into better content in the "Uncharted 4" DLC.

Naughty Dog has also dubbed "Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End" as Drake’s end. Quoting from an interview with Creative Director Neil Druckmann, PlayStation reported that the game will see a definite end.

"Until things are pinned down then it’s never definite. But once we put the pins in those things, it became very real," said Druckmann in an interview quoted by PlayStation Lifestyle.

This accounts for the ambitious ending that Naughty Dog had created for "Uncharted 4." But apart from that the developer also ensured that handling the game is as smooth as it can be. DualShockers reported that Naughty Dog aimed to deliver the same experience that those, who had played "Jak and Daxter," had.

The same fluid experience of easy jumps and movements was achieved in "Uncharted 4." This involved making Drake feel like his weight without sacrificing the overall feel and control of the game.

"Uncharted 4" will release on Mar. 18, 2016, and it will be a PS4 exclusive game.
