After failing to qualify for the last World Cup, the United States men's national soccer team is finally set to make its return to the tournament. The USA World Cup schedule starts shortly before Thanksgiving, and the team is guaranteed to play three games in Qatar.

Team USA is in Group B with Wales, England and Iran. Each team is scheduled to face off once against each other. The top-two finishers in the group will advance to the World Cup's Round of 16.

It all starts for the USMNT on Monday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. ET with a matchup against Wales. This could end up being the most important Group B matchup since they are considered to be the second and third-best teams in the group. Wales is in the World Cup for the first time in 64 years.

England and the USMNT will do battle on Friday, Nov. 25. The Americans will try to pull off the upset against the heavy favorites to win Group B on the day after Thanksgiving. England is the only Group B team that is viewed as a legitimate threat for the World Cup championship.

In their final match of group play, the USMNT is scheduled to play Iran on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Iran is the biggest long shot to win Group B.

Every USMNT game starts at 2 p.m. ET on Fox

Before missing the World Cup in 2018, the USMNT reached the tournament's Round of 16 in both 2010 and 2014. The Americans failed to make it out of the group stage in 2006 and made a run to the quarterfinals in 2002.

The USMNT will be in Qatar for a little over a week before its first match.

"Everyone's going to want to just get it going," U.S. manager Gregg Berhalter told ESPN. "We've been waiting for this for a while, and with a younger team, we just want to get to our business. In World Cup qualifiers, we were used to quick turnarounds. This will have a little bit more lead-in, and we'll be ready to go."

The World Cup starts Sunday, Nov. 20.
