Late night talk shows took aim at President Joe Biden's ongoing classified documents scandal on Thursday evening, reacting to the news that a special counsel has been appointed to investigate the matter.

After more sensitive materials were found in his garage at his private residence in Delaware, Attorney General announced the formation of a special counsel -- and late night hosts smelled comedic blood in the water.

On "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," the host drew another direct comparison between Biden and former President Donald Trump's investigations involving the misuse of classified documents.

"I'm not saying Biden is getting worried," Fallon quipped, "but he just texted Rudy Giuliani."

On "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" the host took delight in learning that the latest batch of classified documents was located near Biden's prized Corvette convertible, which he jokingly referred to as "Stud Force 1."

"Which is more dangerous?" Kimmel asked his audience. "Joe Biden having classified documents in his garage, or Joe Biden having the keys to a Corvette?"

"The Late Show with Seth Meyers" also poked fun of the 80-year-old president's age and the records from his lengthy time in political office.

"... and he's had them a while because a lot of them had to do with the Louisiana Purchase," Meyers said.

On "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," the host felt sympathy for the poor agents who were forced to rifle through the records of an octogenarian.

"Kudos to his team for being able to find anything in an old man's garage," Colbert joked. "We're done with the box labeled takeout menus 1985 to 1997. Let's take a break and get started on those baby food jars full of screws."
