Picking up his fourth match with at least two goals, Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid tore up Levante for a 5-0 victory Saturday at Ciudad Valencia.

The Portguese now has 15 goals in La Liga play, scoring his first off a penalty in the 13th minute and connecting his brace in the 61st. In between, Chicharito notched his fourth goal in a Madrid kit in the 38th.

James Rodriguez and Isco would score, respectively, in the 66th and 82nd minutes, while Levante floundered with one shot on target off nine total attempts.

Madrid moves up to second behind Barcelona, who could maintain their lead with a victory over Eibar later in the day. Los Blancos are, however, running away with the goal lead, scoring 30 through eight matches thus far, and only surrendering nine.

Ronaldo’s first goal came following Levante defender Juanfran’s poor choice of tackling on Chicharito earned him a yellow. Ronaldo quickly converted the penalty for the 1-0 advantage.

With a well-time cross from Chicharito, Rodriguez then slipped a gorgeous header Levante keeper Diego Marino in the 38th, and the match was already getting out of hand before the half.
