  • The finale will feature an epic battle
  • Season 10 finale will be discussed at San Diego Comic-Con

The cast of "The Walking Dead," including Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Norman Reedus, will join their castmates for this year's virtual San Diego Comic-Con, where they will discuss the much-awaited Season 10 finale.

The annual event has been shifted online to prevent the spread of Covid-19. This year's San Diego Comic-Con is scheduled to take place from July 23-26, and anyone with an internet connection can log into the event from the comfort of their homes.

Besides Morgan and Reedus, who play Negan and Daryl in the zombie apocalypse drama, AMC's "The Walking Dead" panel will also include Melissa McBride (Carol), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Ross Marquand (Aaron) and Paola Lazaro (Princess). Chief content officer Scott M. Gimple, showrunner Angela Kang and executive producer Greg Nicotero will also be present, reported The Wrap.

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has forced “The Walking Dead” to postpone its Season 10 finale. No release date has been announced, but show creator Robert Kirkman told CartoonistKayfabe that there is a date confirmed for the episode.

He said: “The old Walking Dead show will be coming back. We’ll be airing — I know dates. I don’t think they’re public. But we have the finale of [Season 10]… There will be more Walking Dead television for you to watch at some point in the future.”

“The Walking Dead” Season 10 finale is titled “A Certain Doom,” and it features the war with Whisperers.

Last month, Reedus spoke about the season finale to Entertainment Weekly and revealed that episode 16 features an epic battle scene similar to what was seen in “Game of Thrones.”

"It’s going to be an epic battle. It’s like a full-on Game of Thrones super war battle," adding that shooting the episode was both fun and exhausting.

Reedus said: "It was a lot of fun to shoot, but we really pushed the crew and pushed the actors on that one. Everyone really had to dig deep because... talk about exhausting episodes!

"There were huge battle scenes until the wee hours of the morning consistently, and it looks so grand on an epic scale. Those battle scenes are going to be legendary.”
