“The Walking Dead” Season 10 will be introducing an important new character from the Whisperers faction. Thora Birch will be playing Gamma, and a first look picture of the character has been released online.

The official Twitter page of the TV series has released two new pictures of Birch as Gamma. The casting of the actress was announced at the Comic Con. In the comic books, the character was seen as being the third in command in the Whisperers group and a loyal follower of the leader Alpha (Samantha Morton).

The first teaser photos of Gamma show her with the zombie mask and without it. According to the description of the character, she is firm believer in the Whisperer’s way of life, and she is also an acolyte of Alpha, TV Line reported.

Along with Birch, the other newcomer to the show is “The Leftovers” alum Kevin Carroll, who will be playing the role of Virgil. The new character Virgil is a survivor of the zombie apocalypse who is anxious to get back home.

Although the focus right now is the spin-off series, a trailer of “The Walking Dead” Season 10 was released at the San Diego Comic Con to give the fans a taste of what’s to come. The video has been released online, and it shows some of the exciting scenes and events the fans can look forward to.

There will be a new war against the Whisperers in the next season, which starts after the heroes are forced to cross the border. The plan, according to Carol (Melissa McBride), is to kill Alpha.

With another big war on the horizon, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will be back in action. However, the trailer also teased that Michonne (Danai Gurira) will be the one who will be wielding a bloody baseball bat in “The Walking Dead” Season 10.
