"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC on October 12. AMC

Mark your calendars! “The Walking Dead” Season 5 will premiere on AMC on Sunday, Oct. 12.

Zombie lovers took over San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 25, for the highly anticipated panel for AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Steven Yeun (Glenn), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol), Chad Coleman (Tyreese) and Michael Cudlitz (Abraham) joined executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert and Greg Nicotero on stage to tease Season 5, which debuts in October, and to release the first official trailer video.

Watch the video below:

Check out our breakdown of the video:

- The trailer kicks off with Rick’s final line from the Season 4 finale: “They’re screwing with the wrong people."

- Abraham Ford appears to be using some skills he learned in the military. He yells “MOVE” as the train car get hit with smoke bombs. Gareth enters with others in gas masks.

- “I just hope you understand that we didn’t want to hurt you,” Gareth, the Terminus leader tells Rick’s group.

- Despite how well armed the people at Terminus are, Rick and his group of survivors are not going down without a fight. The trailer shows the group running and attempting to fight back after leaving the train car.

- A headless person standing up may or may not make an appearance around the 0:15 second mark.

- Bob Stookey really wants to live. Seemingly set for execution by Gareth, Bob spills that one of their group members knows the cure for the zombie outbreak … they just need to get him to Washington.

- Needless to say, Eugene looks less that thrilled for others to know his "secret" about the cure.

- Rick is reunited with baby Judith.

- Gareth and the people at Terminus appear to be teaming up with Rick's group to go to Washington and "cure this thing."

- Despite the new alliance, Rick still doesn't trust Gareth and his "Termites." The trailer shows him threatening Gareth if he hurts one of his family members. But Rick's not just referring to Carl or Judith -- he's talking about everyone from the prison.
