Burger King on Monday began its “Frequent Fry’er” promotion, a loyalty program that involves adding any size of French fries with a purchase.

The deal is available once a week and for the rest of 2022. Eligibility for the promotion involves joining the "Royal Perks" program. Members can choose between small, medium and large size fries.

“Since announcing the rollout of our loyalty program last September, Royal Perks is now available in nearly every Burger King restaurant nationwide,” Tom Curtis, President of Burger King North America, said in press release.

“Enhancing the digital Guest experience continues to be a major focus for our brand, and we’re confident this latest offer will attract even more loyal fans, while rewarding our existing members,” Curtis added.

When Burger King officially launched its Royal Perks program nationwide in September, the company said that a major goal was to give customers more of what they are looking for in a rewards program. This would include getting free items.

“Customers are looking forward to getting items and menus that are personal to them and more useful to them,” Ellie Doty, chief marketing officer of Burger King, told Nation’s Restaurant News at the time of the program's launch.

“They expect to be rewarded today for their loyalty to the brand and frequency of use. I think that is true more so today than even two years ago because customers are looking for brands to understand what their past behaviors were to make their experiences moving forward even better,” Doty added.

Royal Perks members can also access other benefits like earning points for every $1 spent to redeem free items, early access to products, limited-time members-only offers and birthday promotions.
