TikTok isn't just a convenient app for shopping tips and some laughs -- the video-sharing platform can also apparently be used to expose cheating spouses and significant others.

Sydney Kinsch used the app to her benefit earlier this month by posting a now-viral video exposing what her supposedly cheating boyfriend did, and how she found out about his infidelity.

To date, the video has over 2.3 million views.

In the clip, Kinsch green-screens a selfie of the incriminating evidence her boyfriend sent her and explained to viewers what they were looking at. She starts out the video saying, “That one time my boyfriend of 4 years snapchatted me him cheating on me.”

The selfie shows the boyfriend with his sunglasses on and in the reflection of the sunglass lens, viewers can see a woman’s legs that aren’t his girlfriend’s. Kinsch has since updated her TikTok profile to clarify the women in the shot wasn’t her boyfriend's sister or cousin, as some fans speculated.

The video is only about 15 seconds long, but that’s all she needed to expose him. It has over 266K likes, almost 2,400 comments, and nearly 6,000 shares.

Kinsch captioned the video, “check the reflection in your boyfriend’s sunnies ladies.”

The most liked comment on the post says, “Don’t know why he’s got the sunnies on, he’s not that bright.”

Another commenter added, “What’s done in the dark, comes out in the reflection of your sunglasses always!”

According to the New York Post, a week after her boyfriend sent her the cheating selfie, Kinsch discovered her longtime partner had indeed been cheating. Kinsch told the publication he had allegedly been "philandering for the past month with five different women."

Kinsch isn’t the first TikTok user to share a story about a cheating significant other on the platform.

In July, a 94-year-old grandmother named Doris posted stories of her husband’s infidelities, that happened years ago, to the app as well. The video, posted to her grandson's page, has received over 13 million views since its debut.

In the viral clip, Doris, nicknamed "Sassy Gran," explains what she did when she found out her husband had a girlfriend. Prompted by her grandson to tell the story, she reveals she secretly made friends with the other woman.

Doris said, “We went out drinking, and I wasn’t hardly drinking...I said, ‘Well we better go eat so we can go home,’ and she was so drunk her face went right down in her food and that’s where it stayed. I called [my husband] and told [him], ‘Come and get your lady friend, her face is in the food.’”

While times might have changed on how to expose your spouse’s cheating activities, everyone has their own way of doing it, one way or another.
