Since 2011, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has given a star rating to vehicles that indicate their overall safety level.

These ratings were based out of five stars, designating how safe a car, truck, or SUV really was according to the NHTSA’s tests and safety standards. In order by model year, here are 35 cars that the administration said are the most unsafe on the road today (via 24/7 Wall St.).
