This year didn’t disappoint when it came to the Duggars. Two pregnancy announcements, two courtships, a marriage and an adopted child meant big changes for the “Counting On” clan in 2016, and it looks like more noteworthy events are ahead.

Before 2017 rolls in, let’s predict what’s coming for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s extensive family in the new year.

Pregnancy

Jessa and Ben Seewald are expecting their second child in February. The baby of an undetermined gender with join their 1-year-old son, Spurgeon. Not to be outdone, Jill and Derick Dillard confirmed in December that they are expecting baby No. 2 this summer. The couple are already parents to son Israel, 20 months.

Could Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo be next? The couple wed in November but haven’t been entirely open with their plans for children, only revealing they’re “looking to the Lord to see what he provides.” However, Jinger told Us Weekly in August after their engagement that she was “excited for the future,” including starting a family. Also worth noting, Derick has revealed he thinks his sister-in-law will be pregnant before “the end of the year.”

Courtship

“Counting On” fans have waited for years for Jim Bob and Michelle’s eldest daughter, Jana Duggar, to enter into a relationship. Will 2017 finally be her year? When touting a secret courtship announcement last month, TLC made it clear that Jana and her brothers John-David, Josiah and Joseph Duggar are still on the market.

Marriage

Joy-Anna Duggar announced her official courtship with longtime friend Austin Fortsythe in November. The couple has since been spotted on several chaperoned dates, and by the look of things, marriage could very well be in their future. Austin’s family has already included Joy-Anna on their family’s business website and social media pages for Fort Rock Family Camp.

Divorce

It doesn’t appear things are going too well for cousin Amy (Duggar) and her husband, Dillon King. The married couple of one year will star on the upcoming edition of “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” on WE TV. The Season 7 trailer includes a scene in which Amy says, “He picked me up by my throat.” She has since claimed the person she is talking about in the clip is not Dillon.

Things weren’t looking too good for Josh and Anna Duggar’s marriage last year but it appears things may have turned around for them. The parents of four have been photographed together on multiple occasions this year, most recently at Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding. Jim Bob and Michelle even shared a shot of their eldest son and his wife on Facebook in September, wishing them a happy anniversary.

“Counting On” returns to TLC in January.
