The moment Hearties have been waiting for — since the “When Calls the Heart” Season 5 finale aired in April — is finally here! The period drama’s 2018 Christmas special, “When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing,” premieres on Hallmark Channel Tuesday night.

Fans will get to spend Christmas night with all of their favorite Hope Valley residents with the two-hour movie event. After everything that happened at the end of last season, Hearties will be happy with all of the Christmas spirit and sense of community that fills the movie, according to what Andrea Brooks (Faith) told International Business Times.

What else can fans expect to see in Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart” movie? Let’s find out.

“As Christmas approaches in Hope Valley, newly widowed Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) prepares for the birth of her baby while Abigail (Lori Loughlin) prepares for the town’s Christmas gathering,” the synopsis reveals. “Filled with the holiday spirit, the town welcomes orphans and their caretakers, who have been stranded on their journey to a new orphanage. Abigail, Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee (Kavan Smith) take the visitors into their homes, and Dr. Carson Shepherd (Paul Greene) pays special attention to an orphan that is apparently unable to speak.”

The synopsis continues: “However, when Bill (Jack Wagner) makes a troubling discovery about these newcomers, he is forced to make a difficult decision that will affect all their lives. As Bill decides what to do with Hope Valley’s guests, Elizabeth, Abigail and Rosemary get stuck in a storm and face a Christmas Eve emergency. Hope Valley must rely on the courage of some of its strongest women, and the Christmas spirit, to guide them to a safe and happy holiday.”

“When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing” premieres on Tuesday on Hallmark Channel at 8 p.m. EST.
