“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” viewers may have noticed different hosts on the ABC talk show this week. Jimmy Kimmel has taken a brief break from his hosting duties, but don’t worry, he’ll be back.

Kimmel’s break from the show was scheduled in advance for his 6-month-old son Billy’s second heart surgery. However, the procedure has since been delayed as a precaution. Kimmel and his family are reportedly resting up as home as they battle colds.

“As a precautionary measure, the scheduled second heart surgery for Jimmy Kimmel’s son Billy had to be postponed this week due to the common cold,” a show rep said Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kimmel revealed on his show in May that his son, which he welcomed with wife Molly McNearney, was born with congenital heart disease. In a monogloue, Kimmel stated that Billy, who received his first surgery just days after his birth, would need another open heart surgery in “three to six months.” He also revealed that Billy would undergo a third surgery in his teen years to replace a valve.

While Kimmel hasn’t starred on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” this week, viewers were treated to tons of A-listers in his place. Next up taking over for Kimmel is Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence. Her episode, which airs Thursday at 11:35 p.m. EDT, will see the “Joy” actor interview reality TV star Kim Kardashian West. The episode will also feature music from Linkin’ Bridge.

Kimmel has since posted a behind-the-scenes video of Lawrence preparing her dog Pippi for her appearance.

Previous hosts during Kimmel’s absence included Dave Grohl and Shaquille O’Neal.
