As the holiday season continues, many will begin wondering where they can stream the 2000 classic movie "Dr. Suess' How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The live-action Jim Carrey film, which also stars Taylor Momsen as Cindy Lou Who and Christine Baranski as Martha May Whovier, has become a staple for many. So, where can you find it to watch this year?

In terms of streaming services, Netflix is the only streaming platform at this time that offers its subscribers the opportunity to watch the film adaption of Dr. Seuss's book. However, there are other avenues that you can take if you are looking for alternative routes.

Those who are looking for other ways to watch the film can do so by going through iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play Movies, and others. Through the aforementioned sites, you can rent the movie for $3.99.

In 2014, Carrey spoke about preparing for the role on "The Graham Norton Show," as seen in the clip below.

Discussing the extensive makeup that the part required, the actor recalled that it was like "being buried alive every day" as the process at times took eight and a half hours. After nearly quitting, someone close to the movie came up with the idea to "hire a gentleman who is trained to teach CIA operatives how to endure torture."

"So," he added, "that's how I got through 'The Grinch.'"

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is now streaming on Netflix.
