While mostly everyone on the East Coast was fast asleep, Demi Lovato was on her Instagram posting pictures with her new boyfriend.

The photo was a mirror selfie with the caption, “My ❤️…” The mystery man is 25-year-old Austin Wilson, a Los Angelos based professional model. Wilson has modeled for Civil Regime, For Those Who Sin and MSTKN, but he is best known for his numerous tattoos, Pop Buzz reported.

Wilson shared a photo with the singer shortly after confirming their new romance by captioning his picture, “My Love_”.

Just three hours before posting his picture, Wilson sneakily added a picture of him cuddling with Lovato’s dog to his Instagram story.

If you think you heard of Wilson before, it could be because his dad is professional skater George Wilson, a member of the Dogtown Z-Boys, who also owns the clothing line Rivi Goods.

As of right now, no one has a lot of clues about how these two met. Cosmopolitan reported that they both are in the same friendship circles and were both close with model Thomas Trussell III, who passed away in October due to a drug overdose.

Many fans were happy for Lovato. They took to her comments to share their congratulations.

“Omg Demi I’m so happy for you,” someone wrote.

“ALL LOVE AND SUPPORT BABYGIRLLL,” another person commented.

According to Entertainment Tonight, this is Lovato’s first social media romance since her overdose in July 2018. She took time for herself to focus on her sobriety and hasn’t been on social media as frequently.

In September, Lovato went on dates with “Bachelorette” contestant Mike Johnson back but never posted anything or made anything official. It was clear that Johnson and Lovato were over when he publicly asked Keke Palmer out on a date during “Good Morning America.” Palmer was quick to say no.
