A British woman has been convicted for garroting, stabbing and disposing of the body of an autistic teenager in Western Australia. The woman identified as Jemma Lilley is accused of luring the boy into her home and killing him. Lilley, a former resident of Stamford, Lincolnshire, murdered 14-year-old Aaron Pajich at her home in Perth, according to a report in the Independent.

Prosecutor James McTaggart told the court during the four-week trial that Lilley always wanted to kill someone before she turned 25 and once she had ticked murder off her "bucket list" she was "full of herself and euphoric" that she could not help but boast to a work colleague about the crime she had committed, the Independent reported.

New York Daily News reports that the Supreme Court of Western Australia was told that Lilley assumed the identity of the character of a book she had previously written on a serial killer titled "SOS." Apart from Lilley her 43-year-old housemate Trudi Lenon was also convicted.

Lilley’s stepmother spoke to the Times UK and claimed that her stepdaughter was obsessed with serial killers for a long time and that she had even discouraged Lilley to write the book. "The book was a big problem with me. At the beginning I was, 'Fair enough you want to write a horror story,' but I didn't like the contents of it. She had always had an obsession with serial killers but she said it was a way of venting her frustration of what happened when she was a child," she said.

Pajich, who was killed on June 13, 2016, had a childlike demeanor and was found, wrapped up in plastic under the Lilley's patio, the court heard. While speaking in the court Lenon said that Lilley came up to the teenager from behind as he was installing games on her computer after which she garroted him until the wire broke, after which she stabbed him three times.

The prosecution also claimed that Lilley left a message for Lenon hours after killing Pajich saying that she was feeling things she has never felt before, the Independent reported. Pajich’s mother, Sharon, was also very emotional after the hearing and told reporters that she was heartbroken and would have to deal with what happened to her son for a lifetime.

She also added that her son’s murderers were "disgusting animals" who should not be released. "He was my precious little boy, he was my first-born... he was full of life. They (the killers) deserve everything they get for what they've done; they've taken an innocent boy from his loved ones."

New York Daily News reports both Lilley and Lenon were spotted at a local market just days before Pajich’s murder. Reports state that they purchased hydrochloric acid, which they're believed to have bought for the purpose of disposing of the body.

It also states that the prosecutors thought that Lilley chose Pajich as her victim because she thought he'd be an easy target. She noticed that he was thin, vulnerable and extremely trusting and must have decided to make him her victim.
