Katie Couric has reportedly found a new love in her life, financial bigwig John Molner, according to the New York Post. The couple attended the Ellen Hermanson Breast Cancer Benefit together on Saturday. Though the two were not photographed together, sources said they were definitely canoodling at the event.

It's an interesting jump for Couric, six months after splitting from former boyfriend Brooks Perlin, who was 17 years younger than her. Couric met Molner through mutual friends and hit it off right away, sources told the Post. But who is Molner?

The dapper 49-year-old is the head of Mergers and Acquisitions for Brown Brothers Harriman, a privately-held financial institution in existence for over 200 years. The firm's honcho advises clients on a number of industries. He moved up to M&A from BBH's Capital Partners fund. Before that, he worked in First Boston Corporation's banking division. The exec graduation Phi Beta Kappa from Trinity College and the University of Chicago Booth School School of Business.

Couric's life is getting a bit hectic. After the demise of her CBS Evening News gig, the former "Today" show host is prepping her daytime talk show "Katie" for September.
