Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may be entering into a battle over their pets, following the breakup of their eight-month-long marriage. The couple has a menagerie of animals together that includes at least eight dogs, four cats, and one pig, Radar Online reported.

According to a source for the news outlet, the couple has plans to “co-parent” their pets, but the source said, “everyone knows that’s not possible.”

There are plenty of animals to go around, but Cyrus reportedly doesn’t want to split them up because she thinks they should continue to be raised together as a family.

“Miley wants to raise them together,” the source for the news outlet said. “She doesn’t think it would be okay to separate them.”

Some of the animals, Cyrus, 26, and Hemsworth, 29, adopted when they were a couple, but their Pitbull, Tani, and mix, Dora, were adopted by “The Hunger Games” actor all on his own, according to Radar Online.

Cyrus, who was spotted kissing Kaitlynn Carter, 30, over the weekend, seems to be more concerned about what will happen to her pets than how Helmsworth is feeling about the split.

“She seems to be more concerned about the pets than Liam right now,” the source added.

Cyrus and Hemsworth announced their separation on Saturday. They had been dating on and off for 10 years and got married in December 2018.
