A statue of Kate Middleton with Prince George and Princess Charlotte has just been released, but royal fans can’t help but see it as ugly.

The Royal Doulton's collector's item was based on the Cambridge’s Christmas card from 2015, where Princess Charlotte is photographed sitting in front of Middleton. Prince George, on the other hand, is standing beside his mom and sister.

Upon seeing the statue, royal fans couldn’t help but say that it doesn’t look anything like Middleton, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte. On Twitter, Amelia Perrin said that it’s the worst statue she has ever seen.

Another Twitter user wrote, “A ceramic figurine so horrifying you know that it comes with its own inbuilt curse. We bought the Royal Doulton Young Royals figurine in the sale at TK Maxx, and then the killings began.”

The commemorative figurine of Middleton with her two older children is being sold for $300. On the Royal Doulton website, the item has been described as a piece that’s crafted in exquisite fine bone China that is handmade and hand-decorated by skilled ceramic artists.

“The fun-loving spirit and happy personalities of the royal family is portrayed in the future, Young Royals. Sculptor Neil Welch has created this limited edition of 1,000, inspired by a photograph of HRH the Duchess of Cambridge, playing in the garden with her children, their Royal Highnesses Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge,” the info read.

Prince William and Prince Louis are not featured in the sculpture because the latter was only born last year. Royal Doulton previously created memorabilia to commemorate Prince Charles’ 70th birthday, Princess Diana, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding.

In related news, Middleton also made headlines this week after it was revealed that she once lost a place to another woman at Prince William’s birthday party. In the book “William and Harry,” author Katie Nicholl said that Prince William became preoccupied with a pretty girl during his bash at the Windsor Castle several years ago.
