It's been six years since Cressida Bonas dated Prince Harry, but that hasn't stopped people from asking her questions about him. Just because they ask, though, doesn't mean she'll answer.

The British actress recently interviewed with ES magazine and explained what her life has been like since dating the British royal.

"No one likes to be labeled. The hurdles for me are when I’m trying to do my work and people want to talk about him," the 30-year-old said. "I work very hard and love what I do but it is still something I have to contend with."

Despite Bonas' clear hint that she would rather talk about her work, she was still asked her opinion on the criticism that Meghan Markle has faced and whether or not she "felt for" the fellow actress.

"I wouldn’t take a position on that because it would be a headline," she answered.

"Also out of respect," Bonas added. "It feels like a long time ago. When it comes up it feels strange because I’m in a different place."

The interview with Bonas comes after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced they would be taking a "step back" from royal life in early January, a decision which has since been dubbed by the media as Megxit.

"After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution," the couple wrote in an Instagram post. "We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen."
