A woman was arrested for allegedly attacking her husband at the airport when she found obscene images on his phone.

Paula Barbour, 55, was reportedly charged with third-degree domestic violence following the incident on Wednesday at the Charleston International Airport.

Police immediately responded to an "active domestic" incident at 2:50 p.m., wherein they found the couple in the middle of an argument, the New York Post reported.

"The suspect stated that she just wanted to get away from the victim and fly back home," the police incident report obtained by the outlet read.

The woman said they had arrived in South Carolina for a vacation, but her mood changed when she "saw several indecent photos" on her husband's cellphone, according to WCBD.

The fight started when she confronted him about the lewd pictures. Though the man denied getting attacked, the surveillance images reportedly showed his wife kicking his legs twice, throwing the phone to the floor and attempting to hit him in the face.

Barbour then admitted to assaulting him and was arrested. She was transported to the Al Cannon Detention Center and released a day later on a $5,237 bond.

She is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 15, 2023, the Independent reported.

It was still unclear where the couple flew from and where they had planned to spend their vacation together.

In October, a woman from South Memphis was arrested after she reportedly came at her husband with a knife and hit him three times with her car.

The incident happened outside their apartment in the 400 block of East Georgia Avenue. The 45-year-old woman, identified as Dedrus Wilson, was charged with four counts of aggravated assault, WREG reported.

According to Steven Wilson, his wife Dedrus attempted to cut him with a knife after arguing. She then ran him down with her vehicle.

Steven said his wife rode the car, put her vehicle in reverse, and knocked him to the ground after he put some clothes in the car.

He also said while he was on the ground, his wife hit him two more times with her SUV, drove down their street, made a U-turn and tried to hit him again.
