Did Amy Schumer just receive a rose from ABC? According to reports, the funny lady was offered a bouquet of opportunity from the network after they asked the “Trainwreck” star to become the next “Bachelorette.” Um, yes please!

The proposal was left on the table following Schumer’s hilarious guest appearance on the hit reality competition Monday. During the Season 11 episode, Schumer, a self proclaimed “Bachelor” fan, was asked to advise star Kaitlyn Bristowe’s prospective suitors prior a stand-up performance challenge. The current “Bachelorette” star is a sucker for someone who can make her laugh, which is why ABC brought in a pro to help weed out the funny men from the, well, “turds.”

And that she did. Schumer, 33, went head to head with “Bachelorette” villain JJ after the divorced father stated he felt “too smart” for 90 percent of the audience members sitting in the crowd he was about to perform in front of.

Schumer assured the cocky contestant that he wasn’t.

“JJ’s a sweetheart,” the “Inside Amy Schumer” star told the cameras. “He’s just missing, like, charisma and humility and sense of humor. But other than that, he’s like, basically you should hire him as the next ‘Bachelor.’”

And ABC took her advice! Well, sort of. Instead of offering the coveted gig to JJ, Robert Mills, the senior vice president of Alternative Series, Specials and Late-Night Programming for ABC Entertainment, tweeted an “official offer” to the side-splitting comedian.

“OK here is the official offer to @amyshumer to become #TheBachelorette,” he said. “Just say yes and we start tomorrow. #DraftAmy.”

Schumer has yet to respond to Mills’ proposition, but we have a feeling after getting a taste of the “Bachelorette” life and the potential men (like JJ) she’d meet, she’d most likely say no.
