The “Will & Grace” revival will feature more episodes on NBC.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the original 10-episode revival has been upped to 12 by the network. A Debra Messing, Eric McCormack, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally reunion first made steam after the four original cast members of “Will & Grace” starred in an election video in September 2016. But at the time, NBC did not have anything to do with the mini-reunion. Since then, talks for a revival have already swirled online.

Earlier this year, NBC finally gave the project the green light and announced that the ninth season of David Kohan and Max Mutchnick’s Emmy-winning comedy is officially a go. According to TV Line, other than the four cast members and the execs returning to “Will & Grace,” the show’s original writer James Burrows will also be back to write all 12 episodes.

Following NBC’s latest announcement, the network released a short teaser featuring the stars of their TV shows. Messing and the rest of her co-stars from “Will & Grace” made their official comeback in the clip.

Meanwhile, the “Will & Grace” revival is expected to pick up a decade after the show’s 2006 finale. The series aired on NBC from 1998 to 2006 and instantly became one of the network’s most popular shows. Throughout its eight years on air, the series won a total of 16 Emmys. “Will & Grace” was also the show that paved the way for the introduction of LGBT characters on television, according to Deadline.

“Will & Grace” revival is expected to be released on NBC sometime in the fall.
