The self-proclaimed King and Queen of Hollywood are not going anywhere. A-list actor Will Smith and his wife, “Magic Mike XXL” star Jada Pinkett, issued separate statements after rumors claimed the couple was going to divorce at the end of the summer.

Smith, 46, took to his official Facebook page after he started to receive condolences from close family and friends. “Under normal circumstances, I don’t usually respond to foolishness (Because it’s contagious),” he wrote Monday. “But, so many people have extended me their ‘deepest condolences’ that I figured-- 'What the hell… I can be foolish, too!' So in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over &over-again-ness… Jada and I are… NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : -) I promise you all-- if I ever decide to divorce my Queen-- I SWEAR I’ll tell you myself!” The post received more than 325,000 likes and over 26,000 shares within an hour of it being posted.

Pinkett, 43, was much more succinct with her message. She tweeted, “My king has spoken.” The post was shared more than 1,600 times and liked more than 1,700 times by her 828,000 followers.

Even though Gossip Cop debunked the rumor earlier in the day, gossip about the status of Smith’s relationship continued to swirl, thanks to Radar Online. Smith and Pinkett had “worked out a confidential settlement to protect their $240 million fortune and prepare their kids for the fallout,” the publication reported Monday.

Before Smith dismantled the rumor, Pinkett said marriages go through ups and downs. "Marriages go through shifts," she told the August 2015 issue of American Way magazine, according to Us Weekly. "And relationships go through shifts because in life, things shift. So people are automatically like, ‘What’s going on? They must be getting a divorce.’ Well, no. But when people feel those shifts and there’s a mystery, they have to fill it with something."

The couple, who has been together for 17 years, has two children together: son Jaden , 17, and daughter, Willow , 14.
